LeArNiNg iS fUn!
This is my 3rd year of teaching 3rd grade. Yup, you guessed it--it's tenure year. THe big year. The make or break year. Its also Nathan's 3rd year. We're anxiously and eagerly awaiting that tenure paper toward the end of this year. Then, Nathan is planning on going back for his Masters in Administration. Me...well....lets just say that's not in my future right now. I thought I'd share some pictures from this school year. This is the best group of kids that I've had (most well-behaved). There are days when this job absolutely stresses me out to no end and then days I leave feeling the most accomplished and blessed woman for having this job. Its a roller coaster and I can't believe its already been 3 years!!

SNOW DAYS!

January 7-8, 2010
Huntsville got the most "snow" (even though people from the North would laugh at us!!) that we've seen in a long time. We got to miss 2 days of school and it was enough snow to play in! Our road and surrounding roads were very icy! Our neighbors at the end of our street- The Marsh family- (I teach with Cindy) invited us down to play with them and their boys and sled down the icy hill! It was sooo much fun! I am so thankful for wonderful friends/neighbors! Nathan and I felt like kids again. I wish we had more snowy times like these. We enjoyed it while it lasted. All the snow and ice is pretty much all melted today. Hey, we can't complain....a 4 day weekend and lots of fun and rest! Now back to school Monday....

2010!!
Hello, friends and family! We are new to this blogging thing but my new years resolution is to start this and keep up with it! I cannot believe it is already 2010. Time truly does fly by! We've been married already a year and a half. What a great year and a half it has been! We were talking the other day about all that has happened and changed for us over the past few years. We've had the opportunity to do lots of things and go to lots of places as a couple in this last year. One of course--the vacation where we were able to be kids--DISNEYWORLD! It was the biggest trip we had taken since our honeymoon. It was so great to be together far away from home. And Nathan had never been and he LOVED every minute of it. He would go again tomorrow if we could. :-)

And we had a wonderful trip for our 1 year anniversary to Savannah, Georgia! It's a very quiet, relaxing, scenic place that was AMAZING! Everyone should go there! Before that, we went to Atlanta with my college girls to Six Flags and a Braves baseball game! All those trips were just in the summer!
I thank God that we are able to do these things together and spend all our time together. It is really awesome being in the same profession as your spouse and having to work the same time as each other and be off work on all the same days!
I am so thankful for my husband. He is wonderful and he absolutely spoils me. He loves me, I know that without him ever muttering the words. But I do love to hear them :-) Sure, 2009 had its ups and downs but overall I think it was a great year!
As we look back on 2009 and all the good that came from it, it only excites me to think about what God has in store for us in 2010!! Happy New Year to everyone! May God Bless you richly this year!
Love,
The Wilsons
